Nut Free Brands/Snacks

1. Vermont Nut Free Chocolates

Vermont Nut Free is me and my families favorite nut free chocolate brand. For one, there chocolates are so good! Definitely some of the best chocolate that I have ever tasted. They sell a wide range of different products with candies for the holidays and M&M like chocolates, but my favorite will always be the Chocolate Covered Pretzels. I can get them at a local store near me, but if not the website is super easy to use. They have a specific tab for Allergen Info, and are processed in a facility that is 100% peanut and tree nut free.

2. MadeGood

MadeGood is one of the most convenient brands for me, as they provide healthy granola bars that are easy to pack for school. They have many different flavors and most importantly are Nut Free. I do feel that these are a bit pricey for the size of the bars and amount given in each box. They're super small and not the most filling. They are available at a variety of places such as Wegmans, Shop Rite, and sometimes even Costco. They are not only Nut Free, but are also free of wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, egg, sesame, fish, and shellfish. I like them for their convenience and taste.

3. Linden's Cookies

I found these cookies at Costco a while ago, and they're so good. They are made in a Nut Free facility and come in two different types of packages. One with a bag of small cookies, and one with a bag of three large cookies. They're easy to pack for school and taste really good. Even my brothers without allergies prefer these cookies over cookies from other brands.

4. Sunbutter

This is often used as a replacement for Peanut Butter. Sunbutter is completely nut free and is actually made from Sunflower seeds. It comes in many different forms such as smooth and crunchy. I like to put this on bread with some honey for school. It's quick, easy to make, and most importantly tastes good.

5. Barney Butter

Since my successful food challenge to almonds last year, I've been trying to eat as many almonds as I can. The problem with that is, many brands that make almonds have them cross contaminated with other nuts, which I cannot have. Barney Butter is the one Almond Butter brand that does not cross contaminate with other nuts. I love it, and just like the Sunbutter they come in a smooth and crunchy texture. I like to put it into a sandwich and have it at school. It's delicious and sweet so no honey is necessary in my opinion!
