Here is how I went trick or treating. Please check with your allergist and parents on what is best for you.

  • I went with my friends and I would remind them that I have food allergies and I asked them not to eat anything I was allergic to. (When you have friends who support you like this always remember to thank and appreciate them)

  • I brought my emergency kit. (Always my Epi-Pen).

  • I only ate things I knew were 100% safe for me to eat.

  • I did bring a safe snack to eat too.

  • When I would come home, all the candy I could not eat my Dad and brother would buy the candy and bring it to work.
